Related ProfilesSteve Lawler
Known to many as the King of Space, Steve Lawler is a true Ibiza royalty. Having ruled the Space Terrace for a monstrous nine years, the Birmingham native also ran his own residency, Warriors at Sankeys Ibiza for five successful seasons. This year however Steve opens a new page in his Ibiza journey, as he, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Luciano and Nic Fanciulli are launching a new residency, called In The Dark at Hi Ibiza this summer.
Apart from his Ibiza duties, Steve’s relentlessly touring the world over, with recent gigs at Ushuaia, fabric, Heart Miami, Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE and the BPM Festival coming to show his ever-growing popularity in the booth.
In addition to being a gifted selector, Lawler is running his label VIVa MUSiC and is making his mark as a producer too, releasing his music on labels like Bedrock Records, Renaissance, SCI + TEC, Ovum Recordings, Drumcode and R & S Records.
Today, he’s making his debut on another influential label, releasing his new single ‘Crazy Dream’ on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings. To celebrate the release, we asked Steve to compile a playlist of his favourite Turbo tracks ever, and he didn’t disappoint us even one bit.
Tiga - 100 (Johnny Aux Remix)
Wowowowowow one of the dirtiest slickest pieces of filth this side of the century.
Tiga & Jori Hulkkonen - Trust your Body Original
I think I played this record for almost a year in my sets non stop. Classic stuff.
Cliff Lothar – Devotion
I just can’t get enough of house music like this. it's the beginning the middle and the absolute end to what should be about house music
Tiga - Bugatti (Doorly Remix)
Bouncy little drug number.
Mr James Barth - Working the Truth
Synth bliss ‘80s reborn in the ‘90s vibes. Lovely piece of music.

Love this from Jesper. One of his best works.
Tiga & Zyntherius - Sunglasses at Night (Konrad Black Remix)
Love Konrad's stuff, don’t see or hear him enough these days.
ADNY - Never leave you (Steve Bug Remix)
I remember Steve playing this in DC10 years ago, and I had to run to the booth to get the name of the track off him!
Shaded - Scatter Chatter
Nice bit of modern tech trip shit.
