Already one of the best-known eastern European techno/house DJs, Nastia’s star is firmly in the ascendancy globally. Her style is to an extent adaptable but she has a sound that is unmistakably her own. The last three years have been a whirlwind of gigs for Nastia. Her twilight techno, melancholic minimal, stripped-down ghetto funk and sustained house have been wowing crowds all around the world. She’s recently signed to the prestigious agency Bullitt DJ so her travellings are going to be even further afield every week.
Nastia has been able to combine production process with dj-gigs. One place she always comes back to is Arma17 – Russia’s coolest club – where she is a resident DJ. “Arma17 is a VERY special place,” she grins. “For me, it is the only place which I can call my ‘second home’.” She sings the praises of the Arma17 crew, their nightlife vision, their after-parties, and their often experimental or risky music programming.
Addicted to the energy she gets from DJing and all-time travelling, Nastia says she ultimately strives for visiting every country in the world with her music. “I want to play music as much as I can,” she says, “sharing my energy and music taste with people.”
